Sharon Swenson Wilbur's Obituary
WILBUR, Sharon Swenson, 66, born in Niskayuna, N.Y. A lifetime Miamian, a dedicated UM employee, and UM sports fan. Sharon passed away December 27, 2013 after a valiant fight with breast cancer. She was a lifetime student with over 120 university and college credits. She is survived by husband Victor; daughter Victoria; brother Kenneth and wife Lois Swenson; and brother Gordon and wife Pat Swenson. In her time of need she had unlimited support from the UM staff with a special thanks to Dr. Nick Namias who never forgot about Sharon or her family's needs. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Services will be held on Friday, January 3, at 11:00 a.m at Van Orsdel Funeral Chapel, 4600 S.W. 8th Street.
