Clay Spikes
Scott has been very close to my family, including my wife Nunna, daughter Courtney, and our deceased son, George. While in Monterey, both of us attending Naval Postgraduate School, Scott and I played on softball teams, flag football teams, and he babysat for us at times. Scott and I coached the Little League team George was on, and he also was umpire at times for games in Carmel, where we lived. Later in our careers, I would visit him in Honolulu when I was there on Navy business and he was Executive Officer of a destroyer. We recently spent time with him at one of our Florida come-arounds, and enjoyed a dinner and drinks with him. He was a dear friend, as well as a Classmate and my whole family will miss him.
