Sara Ines Martinez's Obituary
Sara I. Martinez, 71, walked into eternal life surrounded by family at her home in Plantation, Florida on November 25, 2022.
She was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador and attended Universidad Católica de Guayaquil and earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design which is where she met husband of 44 years, Aurelio Martinez. Together they had two children, Mariella and Fernando.
She dedicated her life to raising and caring for her children. She was a devout Catholic and participated in many spiritual retreats across the world. An incredibly generous person with a heart of gold, she spent much of her time making and facilitating donations for various Catholic charitable organizations. She was loving, affectionate and adored her husband, children, grandchildren and sisters.
Sara was welcomed into Heaven by: parents, Bolivar and Sara; brother, Fernando, uncle Carlos and many other friends and family members.
She is survived by: husband of 44 years, Aurelio; daughter, Mariella; son Fernando; grandchildren Emilio and Diego. She is also survived by her many loving sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Plantation, FL 33324 on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment of Ashes will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Doral, Florida.
