SALLY J. SIEDER's Obituary
The world lost a wonderful woman on 1/6/2016, when Sally Sieder passed away. She was a loving soul and dear friend to so many who knew her. Sally was born in in Red Wing, Minn. in 1942 and migrated to Miami, where she graduated from Edison High, and lived for the rest of her life. With her friendly ways, gift for gab and bright wit, she was a natural in the advertising and public relations fields. She was a media planner for several agencies, including Ryder and Schild. During her swinging twenties she lived and played in Coconut Grove, and moonlighted as a sultry folk singer, performing in coffee houses as part of a few duos and trios, notably The Canterbury Tales. In 1972 she married the love of her life, Richard Sieder, and enjoyed many adventures with their blended family. Sally is survived by her children, Derek and Suzanne Sieder, her step-children Kirk and Jill Sieder, and her brothers Jim Mellstrom and Jeff Currie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Word & Worship Center at 8601 SW 199th St, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1pm.
