My parents, Henry and Avon Kunce, enjoyed a vibrant friendship with the Admires. Ruth was truly one of a kind - and she was kind and gracious. In discussions - she always make me feel like we were the only ones in the room. Her compassion and wit helped to fill in the blanks at fun church gatherings. I fondly remember sharing holiday cards and occasional handwritten notes with her. Ruth was truly a special person.
