RUTH MARIE MEYERING's Obituary
Ruth Marie Meyering passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017 at the age of 102. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary Hill and born in Walkerville, Michigan on October 13, 1914. She graduated from Big Rapids High School and attended Ferris Institute, now Ferris State University. She worked at the J. L. Hudson Company in Detroit, Michigan for many years. Ruth with her husband and two daughters moved to Florida in 1956. She is predeceased by her husband John H. Meyering and is survived by her daughters, Mary Anne Teperson (David) and Dona Marie Spain (Thomas). She is also survived by two grandsons that she helped raise, Jonathan Lubin, Esq. (Elana) in Chicago and Daniel Lubin, MD in Philadelphia, and eight great-grandchildren. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables, the Silver Club, and the Miami Music Club. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday March 14 at the First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables, 536 Coral Way.
