RUTH MARIE MCINTOSH's Obituary
Ruth Marie Switzer McIntosh died in Miami, FL, March 31, 2015. She was born in Swanton, MD, and lived in Naples, FL, before settling in Miami. She received her MA from FAU and her Ph.D. from the University of Miami, and taught at the University and in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools. She retired as a Project Victory teacher in 2010. She was a noted researcher and competitive sailor. She is survived by her godson, Ronald Watson, and his two sons, Jonah, and Ronald Jr. (Gigi). She will be buried in the family plot in Swanton. She did much good, had many friends, and changed lives. She will be missed.
