RUSSELL V. POLLERO's Obituary
Russell Pollero was born on March 9, 1947, in Greenwood Lake, New York. He was the youngest of four sons of Evelyn Spiegelberg and Dario Pollero; Raymond, his identical twin, Ronald, and Bob, his oldest brother.
Russell served as a medic in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he spent time in California and Belize where he became an avid sailor and wooden boat enthusiast.
He eventually settled in Miami with his loving wife Mara. June 25 would have been their 3oth anniversary. Russell was a devoted, if sometimes delusional, Dolphins fan. He loved to serve drinks, tell stories, and most of all make people laugh. He was generous, forgiving and respectful of all. He was a loyal friend who brought his neighborhood together, so much so that he was crowned “king of the cul-de-sac” and called ”uncle” by the neighborhood kids and adults as well.
He will be fondly remembered and always missed.
