RUSSELL C CRUZ's Obituary
RUSSELL,
Corlen Cruz 68, passed away 7-3-2021. Born in Rochester NY, grew up in Hialeah, FL. Raced Go-Karts, winning IKF Championships, division & state championships and winter nationals. Raced and worked on stock cars at Hialeah Speedway and other tracks. Winning a 50 lap race at Hialeah Speedway. Was a president of the Hialeah Truckers Van Club in the 70’s was a project super for Suffolk Construction (retired) winning award projects, shops at South Beach, Galley Restaurant AT Ocean Reef Club. In the 70’s and 80’s loved to go fishing in the ocean, on his boat, loved riding his Harley Davidson. Life member of HOG, Abate, AMA, Charter member of the WWII Museum, USO. Preceded Ivan and Lillian Cruz, brothers Thomas and Richard Cruz. Survived by Glenn and Mena Cruz and nephew Cary Cruz. In lieu of flowers donations to Veterans Organizations. Graveside Service 9:30 am Thursday (today) at Flagler Memorial Park.
