Sister of Sheila, Audrey and Godfrey.
Grandmother of Lisa, Janelle, Angie, Andrew, Natalie,
Kathryn, Kathleen, Nicole, Ryan and Peter.
Great Grandmother of: Christian, Michael, Sara, Ashley Jade and Micah.
She is predeceased by her Son Peter, Grandson Jason, Brothers Lester and Oscar, and Sisters Beryl and Claire.
Rubia was a symbol of love, happiness and dedication to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and helping young people. She served in charitable, cultural and fund raising organizations in Guyana to help those in need and was a Director for many years of the YWCA.
She worked in Florida as a Pre School Teacher and Director of Good Shepard Childcare, Greater New Covenant and Homestead Christian Academy.
