Rose Khoury's Obituary
KHOURY, ROSE, 82, passed away quietly on November 15, 2009. She was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Nazareth, and resided in Miami for the past 50 years. She wasdevoted to her husband of 49 years John and her daughter Susan. Rose was a teacher, long-time social worker, and an avid tennis player during her younger days, with a deep love for herfamily and friends. Predeceased by her husband John and her brothers Farid and Angel Sakran. She is survived by her loving daughter Susan Khoury, her brothers Victor and George Sakran; sisters, Angela Hanna,Georgette Bisharat, EvelynBagdasar and Victoria Dbiyat and family and friends. A viewing will be held, tonight Wednesday,November 18, 2009 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, !
320 Palermo Ave Coral Gables, FL from 5:00pm -7:30pm with a 7:30pm service. Food of Mercy will be served at the fellowship hall immediately following the service. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11am at Woodlawn Park South, 11655 SW 117 Ave., Miami, FL.
