RONALD LEE LEVY's Obituary
Ronald Lee Levy
Ronald Lee Levy, the son of Stanley Roy Levy and Mary Spett, was born on October 7, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York. He was married to the love of his life, Luane Majewski, on August 18, 1979 in Miami, Florida. Ron graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School in Coral Gables, Florida in 1965. He went on to attend and graduate from the University of Miami, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Ron proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, achieving the rank of sergeant. For 31 years, Ron worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Officer and manager. While at the IRS, he received many high level awards. In 1992, he opened Underwriters Firearms Services. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 2006, and became an Enrolled Agent for Ron Levy, E.A., LLC. a short time after his retirement. His knowledge throughout his professional career was admired and respected by his peers.
Although he was born in Brooklyn, New York, as a child he moved to New Jersey, the Boston area, and finally settled in Miami when he was 9 years old.
Throughout his entire life, Ron was a man who thoroughly enjoyed many hobbies and interests. In high school, Ron helped start a band called “The Missing Links”, where he sang and played lead guitar. Ron and Luane would spend many days, nights after work, and weekends waterskiing together on Westwood Lake. He also enjoyed being a karate instructor along with Bart Vail. Ron often enjoyed playing his collectable guitars during “boys nights” and for his family. He often took his wife Luane to drive in his vintage corvettes on the weekends, and to car meets and events with the Sunshine Corvette Club. As a former Skeet Club Member, Ron loved to skeet and trap shoot along with his wife Luane. Ron took a lot of pride in attending Ronny Jr.’s jet ski races throughout the state of Florida and being part of the RonJon Racing Team. He got an absolute thrill out watching Ronny Jr.

Conclusion
Before Ron passed, he had posted on his Facebook, that “All I want for Christmas is a cure for cancer”. As many of you may know, Ron’s mother passed after a long battle with breast cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in Ronald Levy’s name.
