In Loving Memory of Ronald Flores
April 5, 1967 – January 26, 2024
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Flores, a
devoted husband and father, loving grandson, fierce friend, respected Florida Power & Light
Engineer, and proud Miami Hurricane. Ron peacefully departed this world on January 26, 2024, in
his hometown of Miami, Florida, surrounded by his beloved family.
Born on April 5, 1967, Ron, son of Raymond Flores and Magaly Moreno, was raised by his beloved
grandparents Hilda and Alfred Moreno. Growing up in Miami, Ron developed a passion for
knowledge and a tireless work ethic. He pursued his education with great determination, obtaining a
Masters Degree in Engineering. Ron's commitment and discipline led him to a successful career at
Florida Power & Light, where he served as a respected engineer for many years.
Ron will always be remembered as a dedicated family man who cherished his wife, Paulette
Hardiman, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. Ron is also survived by his two
adored sons, Daniel Ronald and Joseph Robert, of whom Ron was so proud. Ron and his brother,
Raymond, also had a special bond that will not be broken with Ron’s passing.
Ron’s passing leaves behind a deep void in the hearts of his family, loved ones, and friends, who will
forever hold his memory close. His friends with whom he had countless adventures and who
became family are too numerous to name, but know who they are.
To honor and celebrate Ron’s life, a public viewing will be held on January 31, 2024, starting at 5:00
pm, at the Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel, located in Miami, FL. Family, friends, and all those whose
lives were touched by Ron are invited to pay their respects, offer condolences, and share stories of
remembrance.
Ron Flores will forever be etched in our hearts for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love.
May our cherished memories of him provide solace during this difficult time. As we mourn his loss,
let us also celebrate his lasting legacy and the indelible mark he left on our lives.
Rest in peace, dear Ron. May your soul find eternal serenity and your spirit continue to inspire us all.
