ROMALDA BOWEN DE MELLO's Obituary
Romalda Marie Bowen De Mello
July 15, 1942-January 21, 2021
Miami, Florida
Sadly, at 78 years of age Romalda did not survive lung complications caused by the covid-19 virus. Her loving family honors her life and cherishes her memory and will miss her dearly. She was survived by her brother, Albert Stephen Bowen and sister, Lois Annette Bowen Hale, and their spouses, Connie Bowen and Geoffrey Hale and her thirteen dear nieces and nephews and their families. Her ashes will be scattered at sea at a later date. We will all remember Romalda by her intellect, character, her artistic and writing talents, and her determination to win over her battle with mental illness challenges as well as helping others with similar situations. She attended Miami Senior High and Florida State University. She later worked for a law firm, architect and a shoe designer. Because of the current risks that getting together would create, the family encourages everyone to share stories and pictures to celebrate Romalda’s life.
