ROLAND WILFRED MIVILLE's Obituary
Miville, Roland Wilfred – 87, of Miami, FL died at the Palace Renaissance on Thursday May 19 from complications due to Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, and attended Assumption College. After graduating college, he joined the US Air Force, and travelled to Japan, Texas, and, eventually, Homestead, FL where he was honorably discharged. He became a language teacher, earning a Master’s degree from the University of Miami, and working first for Christopher Columbus High School and then, for Dade County schools for thirty years, teaching Spanish, French and Latin. Roland also nurtured his entrepreneurial side, having developed a successful business in real estate. In 1959 he met the love of his life, Beatriz Guzman, they married and raised four children. Roland was curious, thoughtful, humane, a husband, a father, an educator, a devout Catholic, who loved his family and whose family loved very much. He is survived by his wife Beatriz, his daughter Marie(Jill) and his three sons Frank (Fran), George (Nina) and Paul and granddaughter Katerina. We will remember him in our hearts forever.
