Roger Camille Caron's Obituary
Born in Springfield, MA, Roger flew as a Captain in the USAF, stationed at Dover AFB, DE. He later became a pilot for Pan American and retired as a 747 Captain in 1990 after 34 years of service. Roger was a devoted father of 4, and grandfather of 10. He was an avid sailor enjoying the water with his family and numerous friends. He was a member of the Pan Am Clipper Pioneers, Miami Elks Lodge #948 and Matheson Hammock Yacht Club. Roger passed away surrounded by a large loving family and his devoted wife, Joan. Roger will be deeply missed.
A mass will be held at St Augustine Catholic Church in Coral Gables, on August 27th at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parkinson Optimist Support Group, 3757 Carmen Court, Coconut Grove, FL 33133, would be appreciated.
