Roger Paul, 57, passed away on July 4, 2012, after a brief illness, surrounded by his close friends, Dan, John, Judy, Jane, Robin and Frank and his partner, Roberto Reyes. Roger was born on his way to Springville, NY in November, 1954. Roger was the son of the late Paul Lewis and Mary Ellen Lewis, who survives him. He is also survived by his brothers Ronald, Russell and Richard and four nieces and two nephews. Roger graduated from Cornell University with a degree in agriculture economics and recently retired from the Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation department where he worked for 30 years. His talents and creativity touched many and his paintings hang in the homes of his friends and colleagues. Private Services will be held in upstate New York on his beloved family farm and the family suggests that donations in memory of Roger be placed with ZooMiami. VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES.
