Roger and I worked countless visitations together, shared many stories and created wonderful memories. He always expressed his love for his family, friends and co-workers. Roger had the gift to walk into a room and make sure everyone knew him; nobody was a stranger. He would walk up to someone and it would be as if he knew them forever, everyone was a friend. I will always appreciate how generous, kind and loving he was towards everybody around him. By showing acts of kindness and sharing his words of wisdom with everyone, he made a huge impact in the lives of so many, more then he will ever know. Roger was always willing to give me advice when I needed it and listen to me when I needed to be heard. He always put a smile on my face and turned bad days into good ones. He has planted a seed in my heart and in the hearts of so many others. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

No time to say goodbye, no time to say I luv you! Dad I have no words to express the emptiness I feel. I said "goodnight dad see you tomorrow" on Friday night like every night not knowing it will be your last. I miss you sooo much that its painful. Happy Fathers Day dad!
Roger filled a spot in my heart in the absence of my own dad. He helped me through a really tough time in my life and for that I will be forever grateful. He always knew just what to say to make me laugh or cheer me up. He was the best listener I have ever known, I will miss talking to him, and hearing his stories. He was a great man, who always gave everything he had to anyone who needed anything, the shirt off his back type of guy. Always made those around him feel loved, even those whom he did not know. He will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.
I miss you dad!

Roger was a very special person. He really made families feel welcome and gave them comfort and peace. He had a way of making every feel special and he truly cared for people. He was kind hearted and treated everyone like family no matter who they were. Roger is gone too soon and will be greatly missed and always remember.
