Roce Harrison Simpson, Jr's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Roce “PeeWee” Simpson, Jr., 81, of
Miami, Florida on September 24, 2024.
PeeWee was born March 1, 1943, in Miami, Florida to Roce Simpson Sr. and Leola Esther
Simpson (nee Chesser).
PeeWee was a proud, 55-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
(IBEW) Local 349. He served the membership of the IBEW Local 349 faithfully as an Assistant
Business Manager since 1977. PeeWee was a Past Master of South Miami Masonic Lodge No.
308. He also loved the outdoors and was a true Gladesmen.
PeeWee is survived by his wife of 58 years, Victoria Simpson (nee Smith), three sons Roce III,
Christopher, and Andrew, three granddaughters Kimberly, Tiffany, and Savannah, as well as
several beloved nieces and nephews.
