Bob was my BIG brother although I was 4 inches taller & 40 lbs heavier. Older brothers were always BIG brothers. He loved coming to our home in North Carolina at Thanksgiving time to share my wife Sandy's cooking. One special treat that he especially enjoyed was elderberry jelly that my family makes every year. I am going to miss him more than I can really imagine. Rest in peace Robert!##imported-begin##Donald G. Sorensen##imported-end##
Dear Family of Cousin Bob,
We received a call from Connie Plahn this morning telling us of Bob's passing. We are saddened but we do have special memories of his being in our home just a few years ago with other cousins. I will always remember him as a joyful man.
We send you our sympathy.

Will miss my favorite Uncle so very much (Jo). An exceptional man. His kindness to all and the love he always showed us we can keep. Uncle Bob warmed our hearts then and forever.##imported-begin##John & Jolene Nolan##imported-end##
We loved Uncle Bob very much and will truly miss him. We always enjoyed his visits to Nebraska. When Mom was still living, her face always lit up when she saw Bob come into the room. May God bless and comfort all of you with His peace.##imported-begin##Connie & Rick Plahn##imported-end##

Although we didn't get to visit very often, Uncle Bob has always held a special place in my heart. His death has left a huge hole in the lives of his Lancaster, PA family. He was a very special man with a huge heart, I wish for peace for all who mourn his passing.##imported-begin##Pam (Treanor) McCauley##imported-end##
