ROBERT A. WARD's Obituary
Robert A. Ward, 79, of Homestead, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Homestead Hospital. He was born in Lansing, Michigan to John and Leona Ward. He was raised in Key West, Florida and later moved to Homestead. Robert is survived by his wife Nancy K. Ward of 43 years, preceded in death by his son Paul Ward, and Robert A. Ward, Jr. Survived by Barbara Deesing of Clemmons, NC, Donna L. Scattone and her husband James of West Warwick, RI, Robert A. Ward III of Montgomery, TX, Christopher A. Ward and his wife Jennifer L. Ward, Kaydee M. Ward, and Erynn N. Ward. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He served 8 years in the U.S. Navy and later joined the IBEW Local 349 and spent his career as a Master Electrician. He retired in March 1999. He enjoyed racing motorcycles professionally. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, coaching little league sports, flying small planes and working on numerous household projects. He was a member of South Dade Baptist Church where he had once served as a Deacon.
