Dear Rust Family,

We wish you the special peace that comes from loving and losing a beloved Dad and Granddad who was a loyal friend and proud American.

Fifty years after I met Bob, who hired me to become an AUSA in Miami,
I remember that he always had my back as a boss.

He kept in touch and on several occasions when he was in the
DC area, he would join us for dinner or stay at our home. We cherished his friendship.

Bob was a great man and the country has lost a proud patriot.

Attended the annual October reunions in Quantico, Virginia with friends and family whenever possible. A very important part of his life and history for the last 74 years. Some of his class survive him and are in their mid to late 90s now. They are in our thoughts.
