Robert George Moseley's Obituary
Robert “Bob” George Moseley, 82, of Miami passed away peacefully at his home on June 18th after a brief battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family.
Robert was born on April 5th,1942 to Joseph Albert Moseley, Sr. and Priscilla Mudarri Moseley in Miami Beach.
Robert attended high school at the Ransom School for Boys, where his swim team won the state championship. After graduating in 1960, he went on to study Accounting at the University of Miami.
After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, he started his first job in management at Burdines followed by a 40-year career in the family linen business at Moseley’s.
In 1983, Robert met the love of his life, Frances Elaine Weber, at Regine’s nightclub in Coconut Grove. Robert and Frances went on to marry and have a son, Robert Louis Moseley, who was born in 1988.
In 2005, Robert retired and devoted much his time traveling abroad with his family. He was known for his charm, his kind and gentle demeanor, and his intriguing stories about his life’s many adventures.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Priscilla; his sister, Beverly Moseley Elias; and brother, George William Moseley. He is survived by his wife, Frances; his son, Robert; and his brother, Joseph Albert Moseley, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization Robert felt strongly about.
