ROBERT DENNIS HEATH's Obituary
Heath, Robert Dennis, 55, originally from New London, Connecticut and a resident of Miami for 33 years, died October 16, 2014. He attended the University of Miami, where he earned a Ph.D. in musicology. Bob was the organist and director of music at Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove for 23 years. He was one of the founders of the Miami Bach Society, and was active in the American Guild of Organists. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Marie Heath; son, Robert Douglas Heath; daughter, Julia Amanda Heath; and father-in-law, William Buiten. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 11 a.m.at Plymouth Congregational Church, 3400 Devon Road, Coconut Grove, FL, 33133. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Miami Bach Society, P.O. Box 4034, Coral Gables, FL, 33114, or to the Robert D. Heath Organ Fund at Plymouth Congregational Church.
