ROBERT GENE HADNOT's Obituary
Robert (Bob), 87, of Miami, Fl passed away on August 4, 2018. He is survived by his children Sandra Leon, Robert Jr (Sharon), his special friend Peggy Slayden, his grand children Christina, Shannon, Stacy and Brian and his ten great grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elaine Hadnot.
He was an Air Force veteran and served in WWII and the Korean war. He loved working with kids and was a scoutmaster in Troop 283 for 20 years. He worked at Gables Engineering and retired in 1993. He was a member of American Legion Post 98 where he continued his service to veterans. He belonged to Gateway Baptist Church and was ready to enter the gates of heaven. Bob will always be remembered for his big smile, optimistic personality and his loving of live. His many family and friends will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be on Friday 8/10, from 7-9pm, Service will be on Sat, 8/11 at 10am, burial will immediately follow at Miami Memorial Park.
