I am grateful to all who came to the memorial service to celebrate Bob's life. He would have been humbled and honored, as was I, to see all who came and to hear those who shared their memories. Thank you to all who have called and sent cards as well. They have been such an encouragement to me and I know Bob is thrilled to know that there are so many family and friends who are supporting me. Bob and Helen Grill were amoungst the first neighbors I met when I bought my home on 73rd Street in Belle Meade in 1984. Bob was already active in the neighborhood and he encourged me to get involved in not only the neighborhood , but also the
Biscayne Boulevard Chamber of Commerce which went thru various incarnations. At that time, the chamber membership was composed of more homeowners like Bob who cared about improving our various neighborhoods than business owners. For nearly three decades Bob has served Belle Meade and the Upper Eastside.
When we look around the beautiful neighborhood of Belle Meade with our security
district and the ever improving Boulevard, we need to remember Bob and others who took the time to work to make these improvements. I will always remember Bob as not just a great neighbor, but an active partiipant in Belle Meade and City goverment.

Bob has been a part of our family since the 70's. I don't remember the exact year. He and Helen have always been very caring, and generous. They took me in and helped me get a job when I was a little wild, never judging always giving and adjusting their needs for mine. I will always be grateful and appreciative of their giving hearts and Bob will be extremely missed. I know all of heaven is rejoicing at his arrival.
