Robert Q Bryant's Obituary
BRYANT, Robert Q. (Bob), of Coral Gables, died Monday, January 30, 2012. Mr. Bryant was born July 23, 1931, in Dexter, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife Marianne Bryant; father, Ira J. Bryant; mother, Lula B. Bryant; sister, Joyce Houghton Mullis and brother, William T. Bryant. He is survived by his sister Betty L. Wagner (Jim) and many beloved nieces and nephews. Throughout his life Bob treasured his family and friends. His kindness to others is legendary. Mr. Bryant was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the American Legion, the Elks and a long time member of the Coral Gables Country Club. Mr. Bryant was co-owner of Elevator Sales and Service and President of Robert Q. Bryant & Associates, Inc., Elevator Consultants. A memorial service for Mr. Bryant is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of the VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES Funeral Home, 4600 S.W. 8th Street. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to a charity of your choice in his memory may be made.
