Richard George Abdenour's Obituary
Abdenour, Richard George was born in Miami, Fl. on 3/5/33. A graduate of Miami High School in 1951 and University of Miami in 1958. He worked in General Development for Dade County Water and Sewer Company. He served in the US Army for several years in the early 50’s and was stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his sister Virginia Abdenour Becker of Livermore, CA and husband Bob, along with their children Robert, Mary, Carl and Rich, his brother Edward Esse Abdenour and his wife Georgia of Jupiter, Fl along with their children Lorie, Robin and Georgia, many Cousins, nieces and nephews along with other relatives in Syria.
Richard truly enjoyed many spectator sports, particularly his beloved Dolphins along with his Alma Mater - the Hurricanes. In the fall either Saturday or Sunday he was watching college or professional football. The other passion that Richard enjoyed was fishing. There was nothing he enjoyed more than being on the water and fishing, with extensive stores of adventures to the Keys for different fishing trips. Most notably, a record breaking catch (at the time) of a 450 pound Jew fish (Grouper).
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Park North Cemetery in Miami at 8th Street and 32nd Avenue, at 2:30 PM on Monday 10/11/10
