Visiting Dick and Hope at their home in San Antonio was always a breathe of fresh air, a lovingly and inviting evening. Dick had that great smile, and he sincerely welcomed you into his home. A long day became a relaxing evening by the fire pit with appetizers, wine for Hope and myself and Dicks favorite drink over ice. He beamed telling stories of Hope and the Love he generated just made all feel so good. Dick, I knew you for a short time in comparison to others you have shared your life with; but you were such an inspiration of the joys in Life. You will be missed. To Hope, his family and other friends; cherish the memories of a great man.
