His accomplishments in the industry were prodigious. Not many knew that he had a hidden talent as an artist with gifted hands and could create masterpieces using stained glass. He built his family a beautiful home with a museum-like kitchen for everyone to gather, eat, drink and just talk about life and how to best go about living in it. He retired in 2013 where he spent much of his time with his beloved wife at home enjoying each other’s company until his departure from this Earth.
