Reva Isolyn Hendriks' Obituary
REVA ISOLYN HENDRIKS, of Miami, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on December 26, 2018. She was born in Manchester, Jamaica to her parents Ada Cleopatra Webb (nee Dyer) and Charles Rupert Webb. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Samuel Graham Hendriks, as well as her children, Anne Marie Hendriks-Chin (Joseph) and Craig Andrew Samuel Hendriks (Starling), and three granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Chin, Madeline Starling Hendriks and Beatrice Isolyn Hendriks. Reva was one of eight children, and is survived by her sister, Dena Durham, along with three brothers, Regional “Sunny” Webb, Ransford “Ranny” Webb, and Charles “Cova” Webb.
Reva most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a gracious hostess and always looked forward to entertaining and celebrating holidays and special occasions. She was a dedicated and talented bookkeeper and administrative assistant in her career with a careful attention to detail that she passed along to her children. She was an avid gardener and always enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with those around her.
Her smile and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2019 beginning at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (11291 S.W. 142 nd Avenue, Miami). A repast will immediately follow at Country Walk Club House (14601 Country Walk Drive, Miami). Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Reva’s memory may be made to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc., 1505 N.E. 26 th Street, Wilton Manors, FL 33305.
