Raymond C Donaldson's Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of beloved husband and father Raymond Charlton Donaldson at 96
years of age in Miami, FL on Saturday, September 17, 2022 and now is on his way to heaven. He was
born in Clarendon, Jamaica on May 22 1926. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores Donaldson and son
and daughter George and Karen Donaldson, grand children George and Abigail.
Raymond had a varied and hardworking occupational path. He began working in the agricultural field as
a foreman in the sugar cane industry. He and his wife Dolores emigrated to NYC in 1962. Raymond then
went to work for the Port Authority of NY and NJ. There he worked as surveyor, safety inspector at the
Word Trade Center construction site and eventually as a landscape engineer. He retired after 25 years of
service. In addition, Raymond worked part time for the US Postal service for 20 years. In his retirement
years in Ocala, Florida he loved gardening and attained the level of master gardener.
In 1988, Ray and Dolores retired and moved to Ocala, FL. Eventually, they relocated to Miami.

Service from 1:30 PM-2:30 PM
Graveside service and burial will be held 3:30PM on Friday September 23, 2022 at Caballero Rivero
