My condolences to Ray's family. He was a very important person in my life many years ago. I had moved to Miami with my small son to work my way through the University of Miami. I applied for a job at Arvida and during my interview with Ray, he said they had no positions up to the level of my talents and experience. He then picked up the phone and called someone he knew that was looking for an assistant. Thanks to him, I got the job and continued working there until I had obtained both my BBA and MBA - and became a CPA. We kept in touch off and on over the years. I'm sure I'm only one of the many people he went above and beyond to help. I was ever grateful to him and credit him for helping me acquire my college degrees and later business success. He was a special person, and I know the family misses him very much but are at peace with the knowledge that he had a beautiful, new home awaiting him.
