Honoring a Life Well Lived
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Randall Kent Oglesby, who departed this life on October 27th, 2025, at the age of 74 surrounded by his family. Randy was born on August 21, 1951, in Asheboro, N.C., moving to Miami, Fl, at the young age of 7. His journey through life was marked by love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. Randy is survived by his wife of over 47 years Linda Katzen Oglesby, daughter Brandi Diane Oglesby (Mike), son Paul Ryan Oglesby, grandson Paul Ryan Oglesby, Jr. “Arejay” (Emma), sisters Pam Gemza, Melissa Salas, sister in-laws Patti O’Brien (John), Susan Bruce, brother inlaws Jack Katzen, Robert Katzen (Virgina), and many nephews and nieces who will forever cherish the memories they created https://together.He was preceded in death by his father Hewell Oglesby, mother Phyllis Oglesby, sister Laura Woodall, and brother Eric Oglesby.
A Legacy of Love and Accomplishment
Throughout his life, Randy touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit, unwavering support, and generous heart. He was known for his love, kindness, sense of humor, and hard work ethic. He was proud to be a Marine and serve his country. Randy dedicated many years to his career. In 1979, he founded Wax-All, Inc. Mobile Car Detailing which grew into a family run business leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and all those fortunate enough to know and love him, as he loved and appreciated them. He was an avid Dolphins fan. He loved his family, pets, rock and roll, the beach, and his prized possession…his Mustang.
Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 3rd between 4:00-9:00 p.m. at the Best Western Kendall Hotel & Suites on 8560 SW 124th Ave. Miami, FL. 33183. Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Randy's remarkable life. All who knew him are welcome to attend and share their memories. Please come as you are ~ casual and comfortable. Rock your favorite band tee, sports shirts, and sneakers in honor of Randy's laid-back, rock-n-roll spirit. Forever Remembered Randy's legacy will live on through the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the countless lives he touched. May he rest in peace, forever cherished and never forgotten.
