RALPH WILLIAM SEVELIUS's Obituary
Ralph William Sevelius, 94, was born on November 22, 1920 in Galveston, TX.
He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII in which he was then honorably discharged in 1946. In the following years he maintained an academic pursuit in Meteorology at The University of Miami and then The University of Maryland as a post-graduate. He worked for the National Weather Bureau for over 50 years with high honors and recommendations. Being fond of literature and other cultures, he was multi-lingual and an avid traveler with his family for many years. Not only was he hard-working and dutiful, but he was also an unconditionally loving husband and father to his wife and son. He is predeceased by his father Arthur Sevelius, his mother Emma Christina Sevelius, and his brother Elmer Sevelius. He is currently survived by his wife Luzviminda Sevelius, his son Ralph William Sevelius II, his nephews Arthur Sevelius and his wife Brenda Sevelius, and Ralph Sevelius Sr. with his wife Arceli Sevelius .Graveside service with Navy Honors will be at Woodlawn Pk North Cemetery on Tuesday, 11- 24-15 at 10 am
