i just found out about ralph's death. have't seen ralph in a dozen years, been living in mexico. after all those years it still hurt. i was a student of ralphs at universal in 1988 and finished my degree in film at valencia in 97.worked for IATSE locals 631 and 477 for 25 years in film and stage. we became good friends. had the premiere of "sealed with a kiss" in my back yard around the pool in cocoa beach. just saw ralph (and myself) in first take video. i laughed and cried at the same time. he was the best.even though its been so long since i've seen him i miss him sorely knowing our paths will never cross again. although it might be a little belated, i give my heart felt condolences to his family and loved ones. he was my friend and mentor and one of a kind.
