Rahma Dana, 96, of Pinecrest, passed away March 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolando Veguez and by a daughter, Barbara Murillo. Rahma was born in Long Island, New York and moved to the Miami area in 1934. She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved the Lord and served Him in the church for many years. Rahma was an exquisite dancer, accomplished artist and singer, the world’s best cook, who also loved her flower garden, nature and animals. She will be dearly missed by the many people whose lives she touched. She is survived by her daughters, Rama Fox-Cheever and Lisa Filer as well as her son, Robert Dana, along with six grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. A brief gathering 10 am – 10:30 am Tue. At VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES, followed by Graveside ceremony 11 am Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 at Woodlawn Park North.
