P. Vera Sapp's Obituary
SAPP, PANSY VERA (PAT), 87, a 64-year resident of Miami, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011. She was born on July 4, 1924, in Wilkes County, NC, to John and Mary Harrold. She married Robert O. Thorpe, who was killed while serving our country in WWII. In 1947, she married WWII Marine Corps veteran Leonard Earle Sapp and moved to Miami. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, L. Earle Sapp and son Leonard Earle Sapp, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Shirley Sapp, Joan (Mike) Walton, Judy (John) Fiedler, and Susan (John) Koehler; grandchildren Randy, Casey, and Timothy Walton, Britney (Chris) Simpson, Jennifer (Leo) Bonell, Dylan and Emily Snowden, Tyler, Shelby and Hillary Koehler and Kelly (Eliyio) Santos; great-grandchildren Madison Bonell, Steven, Elizabeth, Robert, Deborah, Katy and Joseph Santos.
