PILAR A FOX's Obituary
Pilar A. Fox, 89, was a longtime resident of Miami, FL. and currently resided in Deerfield Beach,
FL. passed away, July 17, 2022
She was born in Puerto Padre, Cuba on September 13, 1932. Pilar Eulogia Alonso graduated
from Miami High School in 1951.
A devoted wife, married to Warren H. Fox for 65 years who predeceased her. She worked as a
secretary at a local utilities company where they met. She volunteered as an arts and crafts
teacher during the summertime for vacation bible school at Palmetto Presbyterian Church
where she and her husband were active members. Some of her favorite activities and interests
included oil-based and watercolor painting, macramé, crocheting, knitting, quilting and took a
devotion to sewing in her free time.
Survived by her children, (Glenn and daughter in law Ellen Fox), (Pamela and son in law Sohail
Gaffar) her granddaughter Naila Gaffar, her sister Maria A. Wallace, her nieces and nephews,
predeceased by sisters Mercedes A. White and Bertha A. Tillman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday July 27th 2022 at Miami Memorial Park
located at 6200 SW 77th Ave Miami, FL, 33143.
