Philip Ray Deville's Obituary
Philip Ray Deville, 86, of Coral Gables, Florida died Monday, July 11th, 2022 at home of natural causes and as the result of a life well-lived. Born August 5, 1935, in Miami, he was the middle son of the late Add Ebrum and Etta Josephine Deville. A proud second-generation small-business owner, Philip's father had founded Miami Fire Equipment Company in 1950. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Miami in 1958.
A life-long Gideon, he was a member of Wayside Baptist Church, and a long-time member of New Testament Baptist Church and University Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by his first wife of 31 years, Consuelo "Connie" Deville; and his brothers Richard Lee Deville of Coral Gables and Ralph William Deville of Highlands, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Lynn Deville of Coral Gables; his daughter, Valerie Ann Deville of Miami; his son, Derek Dee Deville, of Coral Gables; four grandchildren.
The family suggests donations to Gideons or Camp Boggy Creek.
