My friendship with Pauline goes back for about 40 years ago. She was already working at the school I was assigned to start my teaching career in the United States. She was my mentor and later my best friend. I would have never endured for so long at that school if it would’ve been for her. She was always there for me whenever I needed her. Lots of memories come to my mind but I would run out of space if I tried to mention all of them
When we retired we became Netflix’s favorite fans and we spent the whole day watching it. And it was not once in a while but every week once or twice. Those days along with the Cuban coffee and hear her telling me Well, I’m ready for my cafe con leche” will never leave my mind. Thanks Mrs Maloof for being part of my life. I will miss you terribly.
