My dearest sister so blessed to have shared life and made memories with you.
Paula or Auntie Paula as my family and myself referred to her as was more than a friend to me she was like a sister. I'm truly gonna miss her, our movie dates, st pattys day dates, food dates and the list goes on...To the family be strong and may precious memories of Auntie Paula forever linger on in our hearts..Prayers for strength and comfort in the days a head..
She was a fighter. She did thing on her own terms. I think my dad liked that about her, a kindred spirit so to speak… and I do too.
We always looked forward to seeing her (and you) on the trips to Cape Cod to see my mom.
I’m going to miss her and will continue to pray for her and the family. Love you all.
Ah, Paula, this is Julie Fernandez. I am Best Friends with Elizabeth, that lived next door to you all. I remember Paula as being such a sweet and caring soul. I babysat her when she was around 6 or 7. ( easiest job I ever had ) She was so sweet and good., laughing all the time. I ran into her on the Metro years back. I was so happy to here she was a nurse. Still laughing and smiling that beautiful smile. I am so so sorry to hear of her passing. A person could not help . But, to fall in love with Paula. I was truly blessed to have known her. Take care of yourselves. I hope good memories will help in some way at this time. My sincere condolences.
Paula and I were college roommates and we continued to be good friends. Paula tried to come to all my art shows and would drive hours just to come say hi and then turn around and drive back. She never missed a birthday, anniversary or any other event in our lives. It was a privilege to be her friend and I will have fond memories to carry with me. EST wishes to all of her family.
