Paul Julme's Obituary
Paul Julme passed away at home in Coral Springs, FL on February 2, 2023. Paul was born on May 27, 1949 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In August 1968, he left his beloved Haiti and moved to New York City. He learned English, started college, and planned to be a lawyer. However, in 1972, he met Nicole Josaphat, and that was that, and in 1974 they decided to marry and build a life. They had two daughters, Cassandra and Thalia. Paul worked tirelessly to give them the best possible life, home, and education, while always making time for them.
In 2004, Marie and Paul moved to Coral Springs, FL to retire. With their children launched, they were able to travel, enjoy their life together, and see all their friends and family in South Florida.
Paul welcomed his first grandchild, Chloe Dahlan, in 2008, and his second, Julien Fisher, in 2021. Paul was an enthusiastic grandfather who showered his grandchildren with love and affection.
Paul Julme was a kind, gregarious man who will be eternally missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife Nicole, his daughters Cassandra and Thalia, his grandchildren Chloe and Julien, his son-in-law Ben, his mother Anne Marie, his siblings Henry, Nadia, Danielle, Jessie, Mirna, and Marie Jose, his sisters-in-law Jocelyn and Yanick, and his many nieces and nephews.
