Patrick James Petrocelli's Obituary
Patrick “Patsy” James Petrocelli, 71, of Key Largo, FL bravely ended his journey on Saturday November 12th, 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his immediate family.
Patsy was born to Pasquale Charles and Rosita Petrocelli on August 20th, 1951 as the first of three children in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Patsy served as the glue to his large Italian family.
Pat met the love of his life, Tamara, dancing in her pink shorts while dining at Skippers in Lordship, Connecticut. They wed on July 21st, 1984 and the rest is history.
His family will remember his strength and courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile and his unwavering sense of humor. Patsy’s capacity to love fiercely and offer sound advice, to friends and family alike, will be most cherished by those he leaves behind. Despite the pain and hardships of terminal illness, Patsy came remained a hero and remained strong until the end.
Patsy is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Tamara, as well as his children Patrick Petrocelli, Nicole (Kenneth) Beland, and Jennifer Petrocelli; and five grandchildren, Dominic and Leo Petrocelli, Kayden and Kendrick Beland, and Marvel Petrocelli; and two siblings, Eddie Petrocelli and Lana (Patrick) Mucherino.
Patsy was preceded in death by his parents, Pasquale and Rosita Petrocelli.
Patsy will be honored in a celebration of life on Saturday November 19th, 2022 at San Pedro Catholic Church, Plantation Key, FL 33070.
