Patricia Ryan Niblack's Obituary
Niblack, Patricia “Doc” (nee Ryan), passed away peacefully, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on July 22, 2011. Born April 21, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1956. She earned a B.S. from St. Louis University, St. Louis MO in 1960, a Masters in Human Resource Management and a PhD in Public Administration from NOVA Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 1980 & 1984. Retired after 30+ years in administrative positions in Medical Records and Quality Assurance, she retired to teach at NOVA and Florida International University, which she loved. She is remembered for her optimism, courage, life’s wisdom, and love of Corvettes! Beloved wife of the late Raymond Niblack; loving sister of Sally Ryan Sharamitaro; cherished aunt of Dave (Sheri), Mark (Rhonda), Joe (Anja), Lisa Sharamitaro, and Patricia “Tricia” (Robert) McCarthy; great-aunt to Christina Gaipa, Carlos Ybarra, Anissa and Hannah Sharamitaro and Taryn Ryan McCarthy; great-great aunt to Audrie and Isabella Gaipa, cousin, and friend to many. Van Orsdel Funeral Home, Miami, Florida, will carry out Patricia’s wishes to be cremated and her cremated remains returned to her birthplace in St. Louis, MO for inurnment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
