Lawrence, Patricia Coury 1949-2018 – Miami, FL
It is with profound regret and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our cherished wife and mother Patricia Coury Lawrence on July 7, 2018. The daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George and Amelia Coury, Patty was born on December 19th, 1949 and moved to Miami in 1951. She attended Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School, Academy of the Assumption Catholic School and Barry College.
She leaves behind her adoring husband of 48 years Michael Sr.; her beloved mother Amelia Coury; her sister and brother in law Mary Ann and Patrick Bell; her children Joseph (Sommer), Michael Jr (Allison), Amelia, and John (Vanessa), along with 12 wonderful grandchildren, who were the light of her life – Michael III, Sophia, Craig, Kaden, Hunter, Parker, Brysen, Mia Lynn, Madeline, Nicholas, Jack and Blake. In addition, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous loved ones and cherished friends.
We would like to thank everyone at U.M. Sylvester Cancer Center for their fantastic care over the last 6 years. They gave us such invaluable time with her that allowed us to make many more precious memories.
There will be a celebration of life for friends and family at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel, 11220 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33176, on Tuesday, July 9th, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
The funeral Mass will be presided over by Monsignor Jude O'Doherty at Epiphany Catholic Church, 8235 S.W. 57 Avenue, Miami, FL 33143, on Wednesday, July 10th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations may be made to: Castaways Against Cancer, Epiphany Catholic Church or Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
