Oliver Cochran's Obituary
COCHRAN
Oliver, born in Glasgow, Scotland Sept. 1919 to Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Cochran. He attended Glasgow University where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. Oliver joined the RAF in 1941 and became a Fighter Pilot. He saw service in Southern England, Africa, the Middle East, Italy and North Africa. In June 1952 he came to Miami where he met and married Betty Estelle Richards. They had a wonderful 50 years together. Oliver is survived by his younger sister, Jean, two half-brothers and a half-sister in England. He had a very close and loving relationship with his two nieces, Betty Marie Pritchett and Pamela Hill, and with his great niece Erika Hill, all of Virginia. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed by his family, close friends and neighbors. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at First United Methodist Church South Miami, 6565 Red Road, Coral Gables in the Fellowship Hall 2 – 4 pm Saturday, August 15th. Instead of flowers please make a donation to the National Kidney Foundation.
