OFELIA VALDES's Obituary
Ofelia Valdes aka Dalila Ali was born in Cardenas, Cuba on December (September) 29, 1934 and joined God’s angels including her mother, Josefa (Latifa) , father Miguel, and sisters, Inesita, Angelita, Jacinta, and Cira on September 8, 2014 when her love could no longer be contained in her earthly body.
She married her beloved Pedro at the age of 15 and remained by his side for the next 64 years. Together they created the most beautiful family including their daughters Yousi and Yasmin, grandchildren Jennifer, Natasha, Johnathan, Michelle, and Sophia, and great grandchildren Gianna, Johnathan Jr., and Jose Jr. Each and every one of them experienced her care, generosity, kindness, exceptional love, and sound advice. They were her pride and joy.
In addition to being an amazing wife and mother, she was a very hard worker. She spent 35 years of her life joyfully bringing out the beauty in her clients as a hair stylist. She enjoyed her work up until the age of 76. At this point she was able to focus on spreading her love through Facebook, visiting with friends and family, spending time with Pedro, and reading. She always loved singing and dancing and never allowed a day to pass without filling it with music.
