Mrs. Coon, as we all referred to her in our younger years. Norma became my reference, not out of disrespect, but because of familiality as we grew older. She was quite a force. I will always remember her strong drive and determination. She had many "stories to tell." It was an "art" that she perfected. She worked well into her 80's, not an easy task for someone that encountered the blows in life that she did.
She was there at Jackson for mybrother Jim in 1981. Most of his "friends" bailed because they couldn't take it. Norma could, thank God. I know Jim appreciated it.
So Norma, to help you with your beloved cat, to be there for you at the 11th hour, was an honor. I pray you have respite in the Divine Healing Light, of Source Creator. You and everyone, Syd, Stuart and countless other loved ones.
I will always respect and love you...the little girl from across 87th Avenue, asking at your front door if your "kiddies" could come out to play?! I only came with a pure heart.
I hope you're living/dancing in the light, Norma Sophie Coon!
