NORBERT WILLIAM MARKS's Obituary
Norbert W. Marks died peacefully on October 6, 2015 in Miami at age 94 years.
He was born July 25, 1901 in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. His parents were Ann (Schmidt) and Herman Marks.
He served in the Army during WWII.
He received a degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
He married Helen (Merkle) July, 5, 1947.
They met on a blind date. He said he went home that night and told his parents he had met the girl he was going to marry. They were married 64 years and still held hands. His (Lover/dolly) Helen died in 2011.
He was employed at Harley Davidson in Milwaukee in research and development for 40 years. He never missed a sday of work. He always said he had a dream job.
He was the only one in engineering who would test the changes made on the bike by taking it out on the (dirt) test track and go 100 miles an hour round and round.
He is survived by sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews and many, many longtime friends.
Interment will be next to his wife Helen at Holy Cross Cemetery Milwaukee Wis.
